• Image of Doghouse – Edition #5

Edition #5 of Doghouse is our Birmingham edition... which, to slightly confuse matters, actually starts in the Welsh/English border town of Rhayader: home to the Lion Royal Hotel, and the Elan Valley reservoirs, which supply Birmingham its water.

Following the 73-mile pipeline the best we can, stopping at a number of pubs along the way, we eventually start our city crawl in Harborne; later taking in Moseley, Hockley, Nechells, Digbeth and the city centre.

We also welcome this edition's regular, Tony, who remembers leaving school, the day a sheet glass got stuck in the back of a chap's neck, and a good joke about a seaman.
